The Region will be hosting a “Shape Niagara” event tonight (Thursday, June 21) from 5pM-7PM at the Fleming Centre, Beamsville. This will be a public information session on the development of a new strategic plan for Regional Council.
Although many people feel like Regional Council isn’t listening it’s still important to show up when these opportunities arise. Please participate if you can.

There will be a Public Information Centre on the Casablanca and Livingston Environmental Assessments (EAs) being conducted by the Region.
The PIC will be open tonight (June 20th) from 5PM to 8PM at the Casablanca Winery Inn with a presentation at 6PM.
The EA on the Livingston Avenue Extension has been a controversial topic as it will examine whether to plow through the Greenbelt and Irish Woodlot with a road that most see as unnecessary.
With temperatures finally climbing, if you feel a need to beat the heat… Town Hall is always a great place to do so during the week. And this week will offer up quite a few opportunities to do so.
