With the most recent Committee of the Whole/Council meeting clocking in at almost 9 hours (excluding breaks), the question of whether a system that was touted as promoting “efficiency” has really delivered up to it’s promise or not.

The “Save WLMH” Facebook page posted the above update to bring the community up to speed on what has occurred in regards to WLMH over the past week.
On February 21st , Regional Councillor for Grimsby, Tony Quirk engaged the community and public on his Facebook page about the proposed 8-storey Century Condos development in our Downtown. This was prior to the developer’s Open House on March 1st and the Town’s Open House which will be held on March 27th .

Here are some of the photos we took downtown this afternoon of the aftermath of the fire. It was quite an unsettling scene and eerily quiet, given what a regular Friday afternoon in the downtown area would normally be like.
Subsequent to yesterdays’s fire downtown that we wrote about here, the Town held two meetings this morning at Town Hall. The first of these meetings was for downtown residents impacted by the fire and the second meeting for downtown businesses being impacted.
