All the campaigning, sloganeering, promises and rallies come to a head as Canadians go to the polls today in the 45th Federal Election. If you have not already completed your civic duty to participate in the democratic process, you have until 9:30 PM at most polls this evening to cast your vote.

There are several polling stations in Grimsby, so please use Election’s Canada Voter Information Service to find out your local polling station and documentary requirements:

If you still have a mail-in ballot that you did not mail back, you can return the ballot in-person before the polls close tonight at the Elections Canada Office:

As many have pointed out, this election is pivotal and with global politics at the place they are, it is important that you pick your candidate and vote!

With long lineups reported for Advanced Voting across Canada, it can be expected the polls will be extremely busy on Election Day, April 28th.

If you want to skip the Election Day queue and cast your ballot early, you can do so generally through this long weekend (including Monday) from 9AM to 9PM.
