The Region will be hosting an “open house” at the Casablanca Winery Inn to highlight the “achievements” thus far of the various Secondary Plans that have fed into the Hub and Transit Stations Study.

While the focus is the Secondary Plans, future capital works will also be discussed.

The open house will be on November 8th from 5:30PM-7:00PM at the Inn.

Here is the text of the announcement:

Niagara Region has concluded its Hub and Transit Stations Study, a Regional Council strategic priority project. The four GO Transit Station Secondary Plans created as part of the study are a significant achievement for Niagara Region and its local municipal partners as Niagara prepares for the arrival of daily GO Train service.

Niagara Region is hosting a public open house to showcase elements of final Secondary Plans as approved by Regional Council. The open house will feature display boards showing Secondary Plan schedules, including ongoing and identified future capital work projects necessary to ensure safe and efficient access to GO Station locations.

Municipal staff will be available to chat about these projects and how you can become involved.

Can’t Attend?
If you are unable to attend, materials will be made available on Niagara Region’s website.
