With a 6PM start time and Zoom-only stream, it might have been difficult for some residents to tune-in to the Town’s webinar on the Grimsby Beach Land Use Study. Fear not, we got it covered with a “remastered” edition.
Unfortunately for the virtual attendees the audio level on the main presentation was difficult to hear. Before uploading to YouTube, we summoned the spirit of George Martin to help re-engineer the bad audio…. and it sounds much better now.
There were many good questions posed by attendees. But it is always best to save important questions or comments for the Public Meeting however. By waiting for that meeting, it legally enables people the right to challenge planning matters at the Ontario Land Tribunal if they desire to do so.
What’s Next?
In a very unusual move, the Town will be hosting an Open House followed by a virtual statutory Public Meeting on November 4, 2021. Normally these meetings would be spaced months apart, but Town Planning Staff have decided to put them back-to-back on one night. Not a good choice for maximizing public participation, that is for sure.
Info on the November 4th meetings can be found below, if you wish to view or participate:
