As we mentioned in our previous post, it was nearly “standing room only” in the packed Council Chambers for the July 17th meeting. Thankfully Staff anticipated a large turnout so there was a stack of extra chairs on hand for those who didn’t get prime seating.

You won’t want to miss the Council meeting on Monday, July 17 at 6:30 pm!
On the agenda is the long-awaited update on the Town’s (meaning you the taxpayers) multi-million dollar non-operational Biodisaster Biodigester that is almost 2 years behind schedule. Read our recent posts for some background: here and here…. and here.
As Council will be taking a break for a month (next meeting is July 17th) there seemed to be a lot of ground covered and a packed audience to go along with the proceedings. The agenda and following discussions were definitely a mixed bag of treats.
Town Council takes a final seating on Monday June 19th, 2017 before taking a short break for a month. While most of the agenda is just a “pass-through” of the items covered in recent committee meanings, there are a few notable items that caught our eye.
This week’s past Planning & Development Committee had a little bit of everything. Perhaps it was not as exciting as the Committee of Adjustment meeting across the hall but definitely covered wider ground (pun intended).
