On October 25, 2016 the annual Mayor’s Breakfast was held at the Casablanca Winery Inn with guest speaker Alderman DiFlavio on the topic of “Winston Neighbourhood – Imagine the Opportunities”.

There was no open floor to ask questions, rather questions were submitted and said they would be answered shortly thereafter on the Town’s website.

Interestingly enough, after months of asking when the questions posed by members of the audience would be posted on the Town’s website as promised, some answers have appeared quite discreetly on May 30, 2017 (some seven months later) on the GEDAC (Grimsby Economic Development Advisory Committee) Facebook page.   Alderman Seaborn is the Chair of this committee.

Since their Facebook page only has 19 followers, it’s highly unlikely the residents of Grimsby will be aware it’s been posted (perhaps a strategic move).
