Nominations for October 24’s municipal election officially closed at 2PM today at Town Hall. By the way the list grew, it certainly looks like the Chief Election Official at the Town certainly had their work cut out for them today. Although it was only Monday that the polls closed, it along with all the campaigning seems to have been so long ago. In this post, we are going to look back at the numbers and do a little analysis on the election.
While it is still the beginning of July, some are looking forward to the fall… not for the cooler weather, but because October 22 is the day “Niagara Votes”. The opportunity to bring back (or usher out) local politicians is one not to be taken lightly and of course we urge every one to exercise that democratic right.
