Despite the apparent attempts to keep costs under wraps, it looks like the now-dismissed lawsuit by the NPCA against Ed Smith ran up a legal bill of over $140,000.
Although precise details of the legal bill have yet to be disclosed, this amount does not include the $131,000 that Judge Ramsay awarded Mr. Smith for his legal costs.
The takeaway, the NPCA didn’t need to run up costs and damages to the tune of $270,000 to learn about the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. They could have clicked our link here and learned about the Charter for free.
